Quietly located in the beautiful woodsy region just outside of Gettysburg and bordering Michaux State Forest, Rocky Pines Cabin is close enough for convenience and removed enough to ensure solitude.
It’s the perfect place to come with your family or loved ones for a few restorative days of hiking, reading, relaxing, playing games around the fireplace, and hot tub time.
We could all use a break from our devices and the day-to-day rush. Carve out some time to spend at our little cabin in the woods, and feel the difference a few days in nature can make.
Our Story.
We are the Goodman family, and we own and operate Rocky Pines Escape!
We've always enjoyed renting cabins and cottages for family weekend escapes. When the pandemic came, we decided it was time to invest in a little cabin of our own!
We wanted something cozy and comfortable, surrounded by nature, and within two hours of our home near Washington, D.C. Of course, it had to have a wood-burning fireplace, a hot tub, enough space for our two young children to play, and the potential to become their dream cabin getaway!
Today, that cabin is Rocky Pines Escape. Perfectly situated and lovingly maintained, our cabin is the ideal retreat for families and couples craving a nature-inspired escape. It has become a true joy in our family, and we love being able to share this beautiful space and restorative experience.
