Quietly situated on the edge of Michaux State Forest– about 80 miles north of DC and 140 miles west of Philadelphia– Rocky Pines Escape is close enough for convenience and removed enough to enjoy the exquisite solitude of nature.
While this is indeed a cabin in the woods, the area is also rich with farmland and the scenic countryside. With farms and apple orchards to the east and the woodsy scenery of the State Forest to the west, the cabin is perfectly positioned to savor the best of both landscapes– whether you're hiking and mountain biking or wine drinking and fruit picking.
